Is Ryokan Takemine a ryokan or hotel?

Ryokan Takemine is a new type of accommodation, which fused the concept of a Japanese ryokan and hotel. Taking inspiration from the hospitality of traditional Japanese inns, we hope to enhance guest experience through convenience and comfort of modern hotels.

What kind of rooms do you have?

Our hotel features 5 room types (20 rooms in total) inspired by Sukiya-zukuri, a type of Japanese architectural style incorporating tea house aesthetics. 15 rooms are sized 50 square metre and consists of a bedroom and living room. Remaining 5 rooms are single rooms.

What kind of guests do you serve?

We cater to both local guests and overseas traveller from around the world. During the day, the hotel is mostly visited by guests for work, lunch meetings or just to get a few hours rest in the day use rooms. For overnight stays, the hotel is booked for girls’ night in, vacation and business trips, as well as weekend getaways.

If the reservation of 2 person is it possible to allow one more person in room?

If customer will do a reservation of 2 person , then 2 person will be allow in a room. if you want add one more person please inform the front desk at the time of Check In.
★In case customer will add the person and if you didn’t inform the front desk then the Ryokan Miayabiyado Takemine will charge the penalty.

Can I invite a non-staying guest into my room?

Unfortunately,we do not accept non-staying guest in your room.We kindly advise you to meet in the lobby.

Under 18 years children/couple allowed to stay at the hotel?

Unfortunately, we can’t accept guests under the age of 18.
★The guest under the age of 18 with parents will be allow to stay. 

Is it possible to pay room fees at the time of Check Out?

Room fees will be pay at the time of check In.
★If you have additional charge,please pay at the time of check-out.

Receipt will be provide all customers at the time of Check In?

If customer will need the receipt please inform at the time of check in.
★Please make sure for those customers who will booked the room through booking agent and the payment will already completed they will    not provide the receipt from Ryokan Miyabiyado Takemine.
★Required customers please contact your booking agent.

Do you serve dinner?
 

Yes, we offer Japanese cuisine prepared by the former chef of Kappo Momoyama, who inherits the high-quality cooking methods of the established Japanese restaurant. We also offer light meals, snacks, desserts, beverage and many more. All foods and drinks will be delivered to your room via room service.
For dinner reservation required.Please make reservation 2 days before (until 12 PM)  of your check-in date.
And our restaurant is close on every Monday.

Where do you serve breakfast?

You can order breakfast via room service. Breakfast is served between 7:00-10:00am. For any reservation, please contact the front desk one day in advance.

Do you have non-smoking rooms?

All rooms are non-smoking rooms.Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere in the hotel except dedicated 'Smoking Area' at first floor.

Do the rooms have windows?

Yes, but windows are made double glazed and sound-proof to shut out noise, so we kindly advise you to keep them shut.

Do you have single rooms?

No, we do not have rooms designed particularly for single usage. However, single guests are welcome to book double rooms and other rooms of their choice.

What time is the curfew?

There is not curfew as our front desk is available 24 hours for room services and reservations.

Can I park my car?

We offer free parking for 2 cars. If your vehicle is over 1.8m, we kindly advise you to park alongside Shin Mejiro Dori,near the hotel entrance.

What kind of free toiletries and amenities do you have?

Free toiletries:shampoo,conditioner,body soap,toothbrush,hair brush ,shower cap,cotton buds and more.

Amenities:original yukata,slippers,hair dryer,electric kettle,refridgrator,TV and more.

Do you have any room/lounge wear?

Yes,you will find a set of original yukatas in your room.

Are the rooms equipped with microwave ovens?

Yes,each room is equipped with a microwave oven.

Other services?

We also offer an extensive range of amenities including humidifiers,steamers,mobile phone chargers,card games,board games,iron and ironing boards and many more.

Do you allow pets?

Unfortunately,we cannot accept pets.

Can I use Wifi in the hotel?

Yes,LAN internet connection is equipped in all guest rooms.

Is there coin-operated laundry in the hotel?

Unfortunately,We don't have any coin-laundry in our hotel.Please use the coin-operated laundry nearby.

Can I leave my luggage if I arrive at your hotel earlier?

Yes,We can keep your luggage at front desk.Please kindly let us know when you plan to arrive or leave early/late.
We can also support you to posting boxes or sending luggage.

Can you arrange special cakes or surprises for birthdays and special occassions?

We will do our very best to support your requests.please contact us directly for special arrangements.
